This was a good idea. Not quite shore who's idea it was but at night, what were we thinking? It was not the least bit spooky or unnerving.
We frickin crapped ourselves!

This was predominately a reccy.

Nice!!! ive been there just as the sun is coming up and its dark and then the sun starts to peek in casting strange shadows!!! That was eerie enough... But pitch black. No thank you Theres history of suicide and everything from that place. Gives me the creeps.

More than brave … I had a mooch around the back part of Denbigh during the daytime, and didn't fancy the look of many of the floors. They can safely be classed as "non-loadbearing".

Wow, though I am not usually a fan of hospitals, this looks brilliant at night! The darkness makes it look really scuzzy and seedy, just brill!

You did well to get out of there safely. Some interesting shots there. As mentioned before, the floors are at best dodgy in most of the Hospital buildings
I remember getting there about 1 in the morning with Dystopia & Immortal Owl, and mistaking the Cafeteria for Security Portakabins!! -well -it was pitch dark

we did Denbigh at night back in april it was cold raining and we we were tired but i believe we missed a lot. I have no idea why some people avoid night visits its my prefered time. Just remember the dark is your friend and you will have less chance of getting caught and you only meet other loons in the dark . looks nicer during the day though from the shots i have seen.

I always figure that I'm not likely to meet anything bigger and uglier than myself while roaming around in the gloaming.

well what you can't see wont hurt you..............................right away but then that why we carry torches to prevent you putting your foot in it

Me and Evil Jim had a ridicules amount of light with us. We had to be careful not to look like and army of invading Christmas trees.

We stayed on the ground floor and it was only a reccy. Didn't venture into the main building. Can't wait to go back.

think we went up to the top ward of a 4 storey part the stairs are concrete after all

I take full blame, it was my idea. We left before we poohed ourself s though. I still remember evil jim saying, it is just me or is this ....... creepy, I replied. No it's not just you. Good laugh though.

I've only been to Denbeigh once, and it was my first time UrbExing. Some parts are pretty grim in the day (I almost cacked myself when I heard the doors banging and other UrbExers around) so a nightime visit is very brave!
