Every one has seen Denbigh on here so im not copy and pasting the history just though i would share some latest pics with you all . Been 3 times myself, yesterday I think will be the final visit as the floors and structure have come out of the winter the worse for wear, its dangerous now!

No sign of the security talked about on the web in the 4 hours i was there, just two guys from the factory behind as i was getting in the car warning me about old bearded guy and his dog and there aparently hourly visits, perhaps he doesn't like the rain..

Anyway on to the pics, something alternative to start with infrared modified 450d (1-10), then on to the unmodified 450d for the usual array of decaying pics..

Enjoy!

WOW!
THESE PICS ARE AMAZING, LOOK SO MYSTICAL.
WOULD LOVE TO TAKE AN EXPLORE AROUND THE FANTASTIC BUILDING

Brilliant shots Hoggers, welcome to Derelict Places.

Shame Denbigh looks considerably worse in every new report.

great photos of a inspireing building, eversince my first visit this place has been on my mind. haunting, breathtakeing, mysterious. wish i had the chance to see the great hall before the fire but unfortunatly not. if only this place had a careing owner that took notice of local and international interest we wouldnt have lost a gem of a building. i have the upmost respect for the people and memories that share in our interest of a alltime classic, this should be a memorial and reminder to both.

Thank you for the posative comments. :)

I need feedback on the infrared pics, I only modified the camera a last week and this is the second opportunity to try it out. It was a wet gloomy welsh day and that reflects in the pics, 'apparently' really sunny days produce better results. I'm trying to decide if it's something worth persuing, all 10 pics came right off the CMOS with only minimal brightness and contrast alterations.

Agree with you Robbie but even saving the main enterence seems a challenge for any investor now.

Thats brilliant, another place I doubt i'll ever get to see. :(

i agree seeing how it looked last time i went in august. should be council that takesover, shouldhave yearsago, chase the owner for repair fees or prison for not doing wot he is responsable for, itis "protected"afterall. lets face it if we left our houses in sutch disrepair we would be liable for these charges. i love this place, it hase a strange interest for me for some unknown reason. know its too late but imsure if places likethis were used as a "walkin museum", before they deralict, imsure a small charge for viewing and record keeping sutch a important part of liveing history could secure its future for the short term. many cinemas, domestic buildings, artdeco etc buildings are lost for alltime, its just thanks for people like you and me to record the subject before the loss. thanks to all interested partys.

Great photos! Looks a lot more trashed then it did when I went there with 3 of my friends there in December '09, but I'm glad to see she's still standing!!

Poor old Denbigh :(

Great pics tho. The infrared does give it a quite mystical appearance.
