I took a drive over to Derby very recently to visit Kingsway Hospital.

We spent most of the time dodging security and contractors so I didn't manage to get round as much as I would have liked and the visit was unfortnately cut short due to having to make a pretty quick exit.

The place is in excellent condition from what I saw and it reminded me a little bit of Fairmile in the way that it needs a good few more years for the decay to set in.

If you are going, security are all over the place and are also using dogs now, the lack of boarding on the windows make it very easy to get spotted inside so it is quite difficult to get around. There are also contractors working inside even on a Sunday.
We came very close to getting caught but gladly we all managed to make it out unscathed.

Here are a few of the pictures I did get

Only external I got from the rear of the hospital

good stuff glad i got to see this place

nice shots, well captured, its a good explore.

Wow, I love this, its odd to see an asylum that isnt falling apart - I saw fairmile but even that was being taken over by nature by the time we got in, this looks immaculate!

I've always fancied exploring a more modern hospital actually.

Thanks for the comment guys, unfortunately I didn't get to see all of it due to the heavy security presence but I hope to go back at some point.
