Had my eye on this place for a while, and even took a trip past in on the train the other day as part of my recce. The BOCM Pauls mill at Selby (or to be correct Barlby, on the outskirts of Selby) is huge, and spans the Doncaster- Hull railway line, a lot of it is very much still live, but there are large areas which are disused, certainly worth more than one trip.

Following in the footsteps of King Elvis who visited at the start of the year, I decided to pay a visit this morning to 2 sites, this one is the derelict wood mill, and is an absolute treasure trove once I had worked out how to get inside:mrgreen:! The place has suffered quite a bit of vandalism, and one section has recently had what I can only imagine was an inferno, a lot of smelly pigeon poo also

I will put up a report on the 2nd site shortly:

Overturned sack truck, there were lots of these on ths site:

To be honest, the photos here are just a small sample of what I took there, it is a really interesting place.

Thanks for looking

Excellent explore, TK. Love this place...fabulous remains and great colours.
I was going to say that half a cog is better than no cog, but I can't really see a use for half!:lol:
Love the sack trucks...would love one of those.
