I remember visiting them when I was about 10, the ones that were wartime shelters/hospital etc etc. Really must make the effort to go back.

I second that! I must have been about 10 as well and remember it well.

I never remembered the tunnels being long though, was only sort of a 10 min walk around.

Went three weeks ago, they had a world war 2 special event very good !

Went into the tunnels which are set up to display operation overlord very emotional and moving especially for the mrs as
Her grandad was a sgnt major in the bef !
