Took a visit to these old docks at Discovery Quay, Dundee with fellow Urbexer WeeD.
They used to be heaving in the 'olden days' as Dundee was a reallly busy port, but now there is only The Frigate unicorn sitting all alone as luxury flats and the usual developments continue to consume the past.

The Olden Days.

yes its all flats now and the warehouses along next to it are all converted into commercial use

My dad used to take me around the docks when I went to visit him- it was cheaper than the cinema. That was in the early 1980s and there was still plenty going on then.

I guess when you think about it, all the old traditional harbours, docks and berthing facilities that are no longer in use are really ready made of use as waterfront homes. Shame though.......:(

The friggate looks really strange! Suppose it's better converted than scrapped though. I would love to see inside one of the flats! :p
