Probably not technically Urbexing, but there were a lot of overgrown graves so I thought I'd post this. This visit reminded me of the start of "Night of the Living Dead" (the original one) - a secluded graveyard with no one about - I half expected a figure in the distance to come shambling towards me ;)

Did you get a pic of the Hartley pit disaster memorial? I know you were near it because of the jungle!

Really nice place and pics! Is church not used anymore or is it just the cemetery thats not used??

As far as I know the cemetery is still used. The older part nearer the church itself is neglected badly.

Great photos!

This is close to where I live and brings back memeories from when i was a boy. Me and my mates used to go there to collect conkers from the many horse chestnut trees growing there. I must admit it was quite spooky in the overgrown areas particularly late in the afternoon when we would tell ghost stories whilst in there to see who would bottle it first.
