I won't bore you all with the history, as there's been many, many threads on this place. I headed over there for the first time with a mate of mine, and despite the obvious recent damage (as recently noted by mex), I was quite impressed with the place. There's definite (recent) junkie evidence too, just as a quick heads up.

I know the place has been done to death. I've tried to stick up some slightly different pics to what everyone else has already posted :p Disappointingly, we didn't find the pool (though further investigation of satellite pics have made it bleedingly obvious...)

Who says that graffiti artists can't spell?

These top floor rooms are very very depressing. I'd guess they're not residential, but even so...

This thing scared the crap out of me :p

The infamous grotty brown plastic chair.

Is this thing for line painting? It was dumped in the middle of the courtyard.

I've seen many mentions of an ominous feeling at Eastmoor. I've got to admit there were a couple of rooms that I really didn't like. The pair of us felt a bit paranoid at times, as though we were being watched... The constant 'tinkle' of broken flourescent tube and the two or three doors banging in the wind doesn't help!

Thanks for looking ;)

Nice shots, those depressing top floor rooms where residential and where the last bits too be used, for student accomodation. That big machine you took a picture of was part of the pool machinery the pool was through the next door:lol:

Interesting to keep on seeing this place .
When I was in the Royal Observer Corps our Chief Observer was in fact the manager at Eastmoor School, and all war stocks were kept here, apart from maroons, which were at the Police station
