Really interesting site with lots of things to see. I've read about this area before but not seen such a good tour as this. Cheers for that. :)

Thanks Foxy, I think you can still do the trip as far as the wall.
 
Last I heard they've blocked the tunnel off at the bottom now, this was a while ago and second hand information though.

Wansdyke have stepped up the security around the mines a lot since they decided to expand into other parts of them.

Wansdyke have stepped up the security around the mines a lot since they decided to expand into other parts of them.

Last i read on Dark Places this is now completely inaccessible. The tunnel has been sealed and alarmed by Wansdyke.
