Originally the building was a Manor house built in the 18th century. In the late 1980s it became a private practice for the treatment of alcoholism. The clinic had treated up to 2000 people but in 2003 the government cut funding for alcoholism and so it was forced to close.

Now being sold as manor house it is described as having 8 bedrooms to the first floor reached by a grande stair case and 6 bedrooms to the second floor.
I would love to give you more history but I can not find any.

I stopped by this a couple of months back but was at work and didnt have my gear with me. From the outside it looked crazy as your picture shows with creeping ivy. Good stuff, you win.
