Fire Damaged care home
January 2014

Located in Harrow, this was once a council run home for adults with mental health problems. It was derelict for 6 years before suffering a
fire in February 2012. 15 suspected squatters were seen fleeing from the fire by a police officer, it was not treated as suspicious. It took
30 fire firefighters (6 engines) 3 and a half hours to get the fire under control.
Obviously with the fire damage I didn't get too comfortable especially, as you'll see in my second photo, the 3rd story floor had fallen through
completely on one side of the home.

Watch your step..

I was constantly conscious of the fire damage, normally.. even in the biggest derps I can feel comfortable and at home.
Still doesn't beat Twyford Abbey though!

Blimey, looks like there are plenty of very quick ways to get from the top floor to the ground floor :p
Great photos, looks such a sketchy structure now! :)

Yep, that's about as fire damaged as I've seen on here.... Nice one MrDan, liking the way those blackened rafters are just hanging there.... This is a real moment in time. Wont be like this for long..
