Fole Dairy was in production from the 1920s through to 2009 when almost 250 workers lost their jobs when the owners of Fole Dairy, Dairy Farmers' of Britain, made the decision to cease production. Dairy Farmers’ of Britain had pumped £5 million into this site, but £30 million more was needed to bring it up to modern standards.
