Visited this old dairy site a while back.it was one of them sites I never really knew what to expect.but it was far better than I expected.the site is quite huge with varying styles of buildings.even the main dairy buildings had some lovely light coming through.the main offices were situated in an old mill.spent a good few hours here.the business shut in 2009 with the loss of over 200 jobs as the company located elsewhere
This was the main labs and offices.these were a little trashed
Heading out side there was some more buildings attached to offices.i think these were the service areas.
I loved this little room.just for the light and green inside it.
Time to head into the main dairy.there was a lot of just plain white rooms in here.but some really nice light coming through.this is the main area where the milk was produced.with easy clean walls.
The secca office.his jacket was still hanging up.
I fell in love with these steps.so simple, but loved the red against the White.just look how the concrete steps are worn.how many workers have passed up and down these steps
This was the loading area were the lorries would come in to take the finnished produce away
Time to head back to the entrance and catch the front bits
Some sort of old boiler room.
Then the last bit was the old mill.just done a few shots in here.there was a lovely house at the end but it warrants a seperate report.
