Hearing that this place was still (mostly) standing, I went over to Edinburgh for a look - situated right next to the Union Canal in Edinburgh, the brewery brewed McEwan's for Scottish & Newcastle.

Very clinical looking place. Check-out that purple Lift Shaft -groooovy baby! :lol:

Back again for another visit, and thanks to some hints I found the tunnel connecting the west and east sites. First on the west side the decommissioning office:



Then through the tunnels to the east side:













There were crates and crates of Fountain Brewery ties:









And finally back through the tunnels again to the boilerhouse:



 
Nice one :) I've been almost getting round to doing this one for about a month now. Each time I go to do it something comes up and I give it a miss. Really silly as it's just down the road! Glad to see it's not completely buggered inside yet.
