My first post!

I have had workshops and warehouses in this building over the past 20 years, sadly, it is now almost completely closed down, rapidly decaying and rotting, over the years I have photographed the site and love it's architecture and the rusting machinery.

Hello mate, welcome to DP. Your photo is not showing, you might have used the wrong type of link, let me know if you need help. Looking forward to seeing your pictures

when you pasted the link in you didnt delete the http:// that was already there so you need to edit that out of the link... good pictures though.

Fox's Mills

Sorry about the "no pics" I am a bit dumb about the methods for posting, ok with photoshop and stuff but not good with instructions, they always assume that you already know something.
Detailed explanation of "how to" would be appreciated.

Hiya papabear,

The link below about posting using Photobucket might help.

[ame]http://www.derelictplaces.co.uk/main/showthread.php?t=6744[/ame]

And this extra info might help...

When you've uploaded your pics into Photobucket, go to the bottom of the page (after adding titles, info, etc, if you want) and save it. Under the first pic should be the words 'Link Options'. Click on that and tick next to IMG for bulletin boards & forums, and save. Go back to your uploaded page and the IMG option should then be beneath each photo. That's the one you paste and copy onto your report.

Welcome to DP. I look forward to seeing your pics. :)

Fox's mills

Thanks Foxy Lady, managed to post pics, except that I could only copy and paste IMG one at a time, if I navigated away to copy and past another IMG the previous files were not there when I got back, must be an age thing!

Something I do when posting, is to bring up notepad and copy each pic onto it, along with my write-up, and save it. Then just copy and paste the whole lot onto the new post. I then hit the preview button and edit before submitting. I once worked for a good hour on a rather hefty report, then hit the wrong button and lost the lot! Doh! Lesson well learnt.

Great workshops and nice set of pics, papabear.
Cheers. :)
