general question about ROC posts...

Hi Guys & Girls!

So I finally managed to get to a ROC post recently! will put up a report ASAP!
Was so good to get out on an explore again with all the Covid-19 stuff going on. But, I have a question.... how the hell do you close the hatch? It opened fine but once we had got a few snaps and climbed back out we could not get it to close lol. Rather annoying as it is now obvious people have been in and will probably get sealed tight

Umm there's a simple latch on it, hard to explain in text. They do sometimes get a bit jammed though.

i did see the latch, but made no difference. it was a bit tight to open initially, but wouldn't move a bit to try and close it

They're really old and rusty normally, I've had more than a few jam on me, usually a piece of rust getting in the workings as you open it.

If its jammed then WD40 but if its loose then Gaffa Tape. Sorted.
