Such a shame. It was one of my favourite mills, as well as one of my longest-serving exploring buddy's faves as well. I don't know if I have the heart to tell him yet.
 
They seem to be taking it quite seriously which is good to see. Such a tragic loss.
 
It's one of Gloucester's landmark buildings, right in the centre of Gloucester, next to two pubs and a hotel, about 200M away from a World Cup Rugby Fanzone (which had around 1500 people in it at the time), and fire engines couldn't get to the fire because people were parked across the access. It's a bit high profile to brush under the carpet!

Such a shame, it's a beautiful example of a dockside warehouse and there are so few left around these parts, I hope they can save and redevelop the shell.
