Hi,

I used to have a decent-ish SLR camera however sold it a while back. Since then have bought a small 16mp FUJIFILM compact. Can anybody think of a decent SLR at a reasonable price (-£250ish)?

Thanks

There isn't one. They start at a very minimum of £350 (new at least).

You would be better off asking on a camera forum... this forum is about derelict buildings.

They'll be a few around on flea bay Hunter!
My Olympus e600 is a decent box of Photog and I paid 299 for the body and kit lens when released, funky munky what they go for now.
The Oly e620 however might be VERY useful for those very dark explorers as it carries the only ticket throughout the DSLR industry to have fully illuminating buttons on the back of the snapper, so therefore becoming a very useful tool in the dark of the night, and even now you could pick up an unused one for 300 sheets or there bouts.

Krela, you are chief honcho in this shop and I do see your point.
Hunter, you should my very frequent photography forum in the name of realphotographersforum.com and you'll be very suprised how similar the layout is on there to this, not only that, a great community like this too.

However Krela, as these wonderfull places of interest are captured by means of a camera (without sounding like a patronising dick there) is Hunter asking an apropraite question on this forum??

This question comes up time and again. And always ends in the same way. Thankfully, nobody has as yet instigated a Canon/Nikon/Canon/Nikon..... etc, etc... bun fight.

So to avoid that scenario, I'll close the thread. :D

Best way is to research online. Everybody has differences in what they want from a camera, so what folks opinions are here might not in reality suit you.
