Greystones Motel is a decaying 1960s-style roadside travel lodge with cafe and filling station. Closed since the early '90s, its flimsy buildings are degenerating at a rate of knots, helped on their way by a dose of vandalism. A few of the old chalets are being used by farmers as sheds to keep the lambs

Drive past this place every month on the way to and back from Pembs.

Have stopped in the entrance once or twice at stupid o'clock at night on the way down but only to erm 'top up the washer bottle officer'............

Now weather is getting better, will have to stop and have a look on the way back up to Oxon.

haha i've also driven past this place loads and finally decided to stop the other day only to see a farmer tending to the sheep that now house the chalets so carried on and had a sneaky quick look on the way back instead

I would place a fairly heavy wager that this place has had quite a few 'shady' characters check in and out of here in bygone years.
