I decided to visit this tunnel in Tunbridge Wells having been past it many times whilst here. Hopefully you'll like the photos below, I've tried experimenting with some different settings. It was an interesting tunnel and I imagine it would only have had one train run through it.

The History

Tunbridge Wells West is a railway station located in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent. It is one of two railway stations in Tunbridge Wells constructed by rival companies. The other, Tunbridge Wells Central was opened in 1845 by the South Eastern Railway (SER). Tunbridge Wells West was closed to mainline passenger services in 1985, but part of it still remains as a heritage railway line. Opened in 1996, it stands next to the original engne shed (still in use). The line is called the Spa Valley Railway.

Nice pictures! I'm from TW, and once drove a steam train along the Spa Valley line towrads Groombridge! :)

That really is a lovely little tunnel. I've seen this little gem on the disused tunnels database. And for one doesn't sport the awful palisade fencing that normally blights the portals. Nice shots, and well done I think. I would guess the yardage to be around the 280, 300 mark as is said above.:)
