The Derelict College of Art and Design in Gt Yarmouth built in 1912 and taught Art for over 80 years before closing its doors in 1996. I love this building it is so handsome and really sad to see it falling to pieces. I am itching to get inside here as it has some real Grandeur.
Would have been even more interesting to get right in but it is right in the centre of my town, I might have to find who owns it and get proper permission.
Love the frontage. It'll be great if you can get the go-ahead to take some pics inside...I bet it's gorgeous, judging by the exterior and the time it was built.
I thought it was Art Deco Foxy but it was built in 1912! so more like The Arts and Crafts Movement then? But still a very handsome building all the same!. Even with a smudge on my Lense which I didnt realise til I got home!
