Hallam Tower Hotel , Sheffield is coming down!

The Hallam Tower Hotel once the ' in ' place to stay at Sheffield has a date with the wrecking ball it will take eight weeks to level the landmark tower.

Over the years the hotel played host to the stars the hotel closed in 2004 after changing hands many times.

They have moved in equipment onto the site today given the stripped nature of the site demolition will start this week. The site going to be used for housing.
