Had a look at this place on the way back from Severals with Imortal Owl. Didn't have that much time left before it got dark and looking back at my CF card, didn't seem to take that many pics.

The history of this learning disability hospital has been documented elsewhere on derelict places, suffice to say there are very few hospitals of this kind left in Britain that are still in use.

Have included some pics of the live site for some reason or other

Had a pleasent walk around the abandoned site then through the live section, which didn't look that live, although it appears a new psychiatric unit is being built there.

Right in the middle of the old part was a football pitch all ready to play on with the grass cut short and empty bottles of lucazade scattered about.

I had a nose around there the other month as well. Gets a bit boring as it's all very similar. I found all the padded cells to be destroyed too. I'd love to have a look in the other buildings not fenced off but you'd need to break in by the looks of it. So it's a no-go. :(
