Goofing round on google maps the other day, I notice the very distinctive shape of two jet planes in what looked like someones front garden. Its only 10 minutes away, why not?
I managed to get speaking to a local that said the guy that owns them lives round the corner and also has more planes somewhere down the road.
The site is owned by Aerospace Logistics, a company that supplies ex-MOD surplus parts. Seems like the engine has been removed as well as other components.
The Harrier Jump Jet was used by the MOD up till 2010. The remaining stock of them were sold to the US Marines in 2011.
