Hartford Mill in Oldham Lancs (Coton spinning1907-1959, then used as a mail order warehouse by Littlewoods until 1992) dominates its surrounding Landscape, creating an imposing views from many perspectives.

Oldham council do apparently have plans to convert the mill into apartments, but I would be surprised if it ever happens as the building is now quite badly decayed.

Really like this. Some cracking pics and looks like a place for a good leisurely explore.
That tire looks like a basking snake!
Welcome from me too. :)

Nice on SteveSutton, welcome to Derelict Places. Great pictures, however I would invite you to write a brief introduction in the 'Introductions' forum and perhaps some background information on the mill.

Mr. B

A few more pics of Hartford mill

Thanks for the comments.
I am still learning the ropes of this site and I am just getting round to exploring other members work.
I have edited the thread and written a little info about the mill plus a few more of my pics.
