I suppose you could call this the final piece in the Glossop mill trilogy. Volcrepe was done in 2007. Kingspan the following year. This place has been on my list for a long time and it's good to finally put a tick next to the name.

Originally constructed as a textile mill towards the end of the 1700s the mill has changed hands, owners and uses between then and now. During WW1 it was a munitions factory. At one point it was a nut and bolt factory. Its last inhabitants Flexco were a conveyor belt fastening manufacturer (I actually visited Flexco when it was still in use and the noise was incredible). Flexco moved out in 2005 and the mill, from what I can tell, has stood empty since then.

Pics. :)
