I went to the pool at Whitley Bay which had an amusing sign saying "We Don't Swim In Your Toilet, So Please Don't Pee In Our Pool!"

Well remembered! A note on the wall above the urinals at an army camp: "Please do not leave your cigarette ends here. It makes them soggy and unable to be lit."
