A couple of weeks ago I visited Park House at Hellingly, so went back to check out the main complex. To be honest, overall I thought that Park House was a better building due to the fact that the main complex had been modernised at some point, while in Park House it still all looked really old. For example, the light switches were all the round toggle type, plug sockets all seemed to be the old round pins style and the latest updates seemed to have been done in the 70's.

But still, I really enjoyed exploring the main part of Hellingly as there are a lot of main set pieces that exceed by far anything in Park House. The great Hall, water tower, boiler house, dentist, and laundry were all fantastic. I must have walked past the Hairdressers area as I read on my return that it is near the Hall, so I may have to go back at some point to see that, and the morgue if that's still standing. As for another return visit, has anyone managed to explore the church or derelict building next to the church?

All my photographs can be found here, and there is a selection below. 2nd explore down, next must be Cane Hill a.s.a.p.

I didn't see one, but I could have just missed it. Where abouts was it in the room?

Nice pics, those baths are strange :wconfused: ? The place looks pretty derelict but very interesting! Well done! :)

The baths were strange, walking round the corner and seeing them through the double doors. I do think it's a great place, but I do wish there were some derelict places that weren't subject to vandalism. I'm guessing the baths may have been stood like that when Hellingly was used as a paintball arena.

Nice mix of pics :)

I understand that the old vehicle repair Garage was based in what was originally where the train used to load and un-load. The Ballroom is very cool :wcool:
