Hi there!

I’m Sarah and I’ve always been fascinated by derelict buildings - why were they abandoned? what’s inside? and is there some sinister history surrounding it?

I’m looking for suitable locations in and around Northamptonshire for a couple of reasons: I’m a member of a non-commercial paranormal investigation team, so anything with a hint of strange, we’ll be there! And secondly, I’m a hobbyist photography model and any derelict/ ruined/ graffiti’d locations would make a great set.

Of course, I’ll happily share anything that I come across in my shenanigans ☺️

Hello and welcome to the forum most people on here don't really believe in the paranormal (myself included) but there are hundreds of locations in Northampton and a few explores from here along with myself being a fellow Northamptonshiran and if you must do paranormal stuff go st crispins there's plenty of clickbait videos from there.

Welcome to the forum. Regarding paranormal, like my esteemed colleague says, not many urban explorers really believe in it. Given the number of places with an unpleasant history we frequent it's kind of odd that we don't see a spook lurking behind every piece of peeling wallpaper! But truth is, we simply don't. And here's the rub... I personally DO believe there's more to life than death (Mr. Van Helsing) due to odd experiences my wife and I, AND THREE GUESTS on separate occasions, have experienced in a 17th. Century farm house we lived in for 10 years. That together with odd things we both experienced whilst staying at Toc H (Talbot House) in Poperinghe many years ago. BUT... and here's another rub, despite us exploring several sites with a supposedly bad rap for things that go bump in the night - numerous insane asylums including one where abuse was endemic and a murder happened, more Great War fortresses than I can shake an EVP recorder at (if I actually had one) in an area where there was enormous loss of life, and a site near Berlin where a multiple murderer killed several women and a babe in arms... well, we've actually never seen, heard or felt a thing!

Go figure!

Mind you, I live in absolute terror of ever meeting the ghost of the late Derek (P)Akora, the infamous Liverpuddlian medium of Most Haunted fame... I am petrified I will die laughing at his bullsh*t!

So... I can't help you with ghouls and ghosties but I can seriously recommend a PooToob (YouTube) channel you will enjoy if you don't already... go into the site and search for Nuke's Top 5. He posts rather infrequently these days but I would say that he manages to post at least ONE clip in his compilation every time which has me scratching my head trying to find a plausible way that the video clip in question could have been faked. And he never claims anything he posts is real or otherwise letting you be the one to make your own mind up.

Enjoy!

I find that Nukes Top Five tends to show videos from others and some are fake but Slapped Ham is better. A varied collection. Again, its left to the viewer if the video is fake or not.

Yeah... I've seen his stuff too but to be honest I'm not a fan - I always feel Slapped 'strylian replays each clip so many times it seems to take an hour per "event". Nuke feels far more concise. Nuke also tends to get the clips first. But I saw Nuke's site first so that must have a bearing. Which ever way you look at it though they both seem to show some good stuff compared to many of the other offerings so prevalent on't toob. I'm sick of seeing amateur Parrot Psychologists wetting their draws over dust in the air... orby orby orby! :ROFLMAO:
