How Things Changes, And not for The Better Sometimes.

We walk round these places and imagine what they were like, but do we really ever know for sure. Well here are a few images that give us an indication of how one lunatic asylum did look over the years.

Its only a small snapshot but I hope you find them as interesting as I did documenting them.

Brilliantly done! I just wish I'd been there at all!!! Love it:)

Very nice. :) I often think like those merged pictures whilst I explore derelict stuff. Imagining how the place would have looked. The smells and the sounds.
Thanks for the fascinating insight on this place.

great work mate love seeing these
how do you find the old photos? do you have a local records office round your way?

Yet again, you have surpassed yourself ol' chap! :)

Thanks for the efforts with this. Those merged pics really are like taking a peek back in time.

Incredible work. Must have taken an awful lot of patience and skill to re-create the exact same viewpoint as the older photos. Well impressed.

that was brillinat, the merged pictures are spooky, you can almost hear the ghostly sound of a grammerphone (that spelling looks dodgy:neutral:) but very very intersting:mrgreen:

Those merged pictures look great!

Of all the "in use" pictures of mental hospitals I've seen, they either seem to be either very spartan or otherwise almost overfancy.

Speaking of gramaphones have a look at the video I have created with these images, all will become clear.

As a noob, I'm still working my way through old posts.
This is definitely a boomark find.

The photographs are absolutely beautiful and merging them reminds me very much of some of the extra features on James Cameron's 'Titanic'.

It's like breathing new life on an echo.
Stunning.
Any more?
