Here's a video and few pictures of the aftermath of a demolition of one of Hull's 22 floor High-rise blocks, it's been empty for months (would have attempted to get in but security was mad). It's one of 5 that are due to be demolished by the end of 2015.
The block was once in a cluster of 3 in the 60's, but has stood alone since nearby Vernon House was demolished in 2004; its other neighbour Drake House was demolished in 2002.
The demolition didn't go to plan with some of the building veering off to the side and crashing through a barrier onto the paths, luckily they had put a massive exclusion zone around the flat.
