Good to see a few relics being saved.

i wonder how much of the crockery at Cane Hill will just get dozed along with the building
would love to have a cup, bowl, plate, knife, fork and spoon from there :(

mattdonut found a small fragment in St Georges with the asylum logo

got me wondering if any of it ever was saved and ends up on such as the antiques roadshow

Haha it's cool you found a bit as well. Some from me in as found condition...

As I used to do a lot of bottle digging would find quite a few bits. Most of it was from local cafes, organizations, and railway stations rather than hospitals though.

There is an old isolation hospital up the road from me, and when they were converting it into a hotel a jcb fell down into the ground. Turns out there were loads of rotten old crates full of crockery under there, dunno what happened to them though!
