whilst in the area having a bit of a culvert failure our attention turned to this house, its called manor farm and im assuming at one point there was a farm here....anyway the house itself has always been on my "to look list" and to be honest it wasnt bad.
it comprises of about 6-7 bedrooms upstairs, large living rooms on the ground floor and what looked like a small kitchen at the back also some sort of nursery extension and evidence of a small shop at the side at some point....also has a 3 lions crest at the from of the house.
the bathroom i found to be rather interesting, virtually intact again with no damage with a lovely bath sat on cast iron legs.
also around the house various rooms had lovely stain glass windows but the main eye catchers to this house was deffo the wallpapers nice and retro....
its not much more of a brucie bonus tbh ,but its new and something ive grown fond of nowadays exploring, if your looking for something on par with the hoarders house look away now this one is nothing like it.
i cant find any information on this place anywhere but id love to know who lived in it last ,and when it was last lived i cant even find any old pictures of .....if anyone local from runcorn or surrounding areas has any info drop me an email.
also i found evidence of an old tip in the woods at the back which could be also connected to this place..
explored with kevsy21
the 3 lions crest close up
extension round the back maybe an old nursery?
the rather nice stained glass above the bog
this place had some rather nice wooden beams exposed
i thought this was a morg slab removed at first but the realised we was in the kitchen area and could have possibly been a work surface....
more stained glass
more lovely wooden beams
ok ok heres the wallpaper
small cellar
more stained glass
up in the attic it was vitually untouched with old doors lying around etc ,it was rather dusty and dirty and had the biggest hornets nest ive seen, sadly i never got a picture im hoping kev did thought as it was huge.
some evidence of a small shop out the back possibly an ice cream shop
heres what i found at the old tip in the woods i havent had a chence to have a good dig but heres what ive found so far....an old mineral water bottle/teaspoons medicine bottle and various other crockery.
