Don't let them fool you, size is important! Am I alone in suffering from image size in posts? Hey guys, I live in the middle of nowhere with an internet speed that can be overtaken by a dead slug. I manage up to about 1000x800 ish ok but much bigger and it all gets a bit boring!

Please consider image size, I know its great to have bigger better etc but spare a thought for us rural pepes! :(

No you're not, I'm a bit in the sticks myself. The forum software resizes them anyway, so posting bigger pictures just results in that long wait for the page to load if you're on carthorse driven broadband that is.

I suppose some people may tune out and go visit another thread instead.

I just go off and make a cup of tea. :)

It only resizes the actual display of the images, it still requires you to download the full size image itself before it can display it.

There is no way of controlling the actual size of the images from within the forum itself short of hosting the pictures here which is financially unviable.

Paul try downloading the forumrunner app, derelictplaces is on that and it optimises everything for phones. The app is free to just browse or about £1.99 if you want the ability to post, PM etc.

In all honesty it's unfair to expect people to minimise the quality of their posts just for phones, so it's the best compromise.

I'll give it a shot thanks
