I was just watching a clip [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qvXyqVuyJQ"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qvXyqVuyJQ[/ame] about some people being caught at chateau la foret a very well known urbex location if im correct. It's also pretty well known the owners are very upset with people entering the castle over and over as is shown in the movie. (also really didnt like the attitude of those urbexers btw laughing at the police and the owners)

I know urbexers are said not to take anything etc. But im very doubtful this goes for all of them, also it makes the security of said castle a lot harder and it advertises the content of the castle. I can't help but feel its pretty bad to totally neglect the wishes of the owners when they have valid arguments to not wanting people wandering in and out. What do you guys think?

I think this topic has been done to death and this thread won't lead anywhere constructive.

Morals are relative, there's no such thing as absolute morals, the only thing that is absolute is the law. To some people it is immoral, to some people it isn't. Each person will decide for them self and live with whatever consequences there might be.

You probably wont find anything as I tend to delete them, but I'll give you a brief run down.

1) Yes there are arrogant unthinking muppets, idiots and criminals both within the UE community, anonymously reading the forums and cruising for places themselves independently. They exist in every single walk of life, and with the exception of some long abandoned residential properties they usually get there before we do.
2) Yes it does contribute to the destruction of some places.
3) If you don't agree with it, don't be part of it. That includes thinking very carefully about whether to post things online (on forums or on your own websites), naming sites and posting identifying features, giving out information to other people etc.
4) If you know of anything concrete about people breaking the law then take it to the relevant people (crimestoppers etc).
5) If you see someone doing something you don't agree with ethically and it bothers you, take it up with them directly.
6) Airing dirty laundry on a public forum does no-one any favours, and rarely changes anything.
