Inchrye Steading is a Category B Listed building, currently for sale. It formed the outbuildings of Inchrye Abbey (a Gothic Revival House built in 1827), which was demolished in the 1960s.

Thats nice, years since I saw some duff old plaster and lathe. Thanks

I do believe it was purchased by a developer. The access road and herras fencing is relatively recent, and the council diverted a right of way to allow the development, for which planning was previously granted (though my online-planning search-fu appears weak). The one thing that would put me off the site is its proximity to the busy A913.

Crikey, that doesn't half remind me of a similar place up here. It was always known as "Tower farm" and I used to walk home past it fromn school. It's been turned into posh apartments now.
