ipswich sugar factory may 09

visited ipswich sugar factory yesterday for the first time. considering its a small site in relation to bury st edmunds it is still huge! the pikeys have got in tho and had their evil ways and alot of grafitti too. its a difficult place to access but was well worth the stinging nettle rashes and dangerous climbing (over a huge 3 storey drop to go in through a broken window) didnt manage to get to the top of the silo but theres always next time ;) anyway excuse the quality again, camera phone. and thanks for looking :)

Nice one, my mate works at a British Sugar plant... he recently got a right rollocking off the gaffer after being caught taking pics from the top of the silo walkway..was a bit naughty tho as the dust is so explosive !

Nice one. The sugar spilling out of the pipe is IDENTICAL to when I went over a year ago, not changed a bit! Glad that it went well, and you got some really nice photo's. Pardon the pun, but our visit came to a sticky end...:p

I always wonder, why is White sugar cheaper, yet its gone through more processes? Brown sugar is natural, its as it came from the cane, nasty white sugar is cheapo, with bleach and all sorts of crap added to it.
