Whilst in the area it would've been rude not to pop in here after the Shadow Factory, the only bad thing being during our stop for lunch in McD's the weather took a turn for the worse and began to pour with rain, and anyone who has been here will know it is lacking large amounts of roof! Still it made for a slightly more atmospheric explore and other than the glass crunching underfoot and the rain it was nice and quiet.

The place is pretty shagged and is all about the graffiti really although I do like factories in this level of decay myself. It took us ages to find the front lobby after walking straight past the right stairwell as soon as we got in as well

Some of that free hand graf is great, especially the monochrome stuff hidden away in a corner on one of the pix.

I thought the little boy on the pillar was good initialy until I realised it was a stencil. That form of graf leaves me stone cold cos unless I am missing something I would have thought any Tom, Dick or Harry can blow up a picture and turn it into a stencil, whereas free hand is true art.

I was quite taken with the lobby shot (I assume it was the lobby), particularly the light fittings!

The lobby is the best bit, although tagged to hell like the rest of the place it's largely escaped the attention of the smashy smashy crew, other than the one light fitting that has been torn down it's pretty much intact.

THAT makes a RARE change! Did a former school up in the NE on Saturday and it was trashed to b*ggery, as usual. It's depressing isn't it.
