kanner unit (highroyds)

This is the kanner unit at highroyds opened in the early 60's it housed babies to 10 years. I have been told (by someone who worked there)a few reasons for being there were autism, downs, not sleeping and wetting the bed . When higroyds shut it was used by the police, there are holes blasted in the walls and the doors are on the floor .
