Location
Yorkshire.
Visited this location with Donna to kick of the first of a two day spur of the moment trip to France. We arrived early in the morning well before sun up and soon realised we had parked too far away… we headed around to the other side of the forest after we tried going through the forest on a dirt track which lead to a gated dead end. Through the fence and we wondered along an old path before being greeted by the first of the 2 main larger hospital buildings. The structures were bigger than what I had expected and we proceeded past the first on to the 2nd older wing where we made our way inside. Buried deep inside the forest this hospital seemed really quiet and peaceful and it was a great explore until we were interrupted… I was taking an external shot under one of the covered areas next to the main hospital when I saw a figure running directly towards me… it was security… he hadn’t seen me at this point but as he got closer and I attempted to edge around a post so that he wouldn’t see me I stepped on a dry twig which caught his attention and we were promptly asked to leave the site…
