My 3rd visit to this great site this year was an opportunity to re-shoot the site with my new camera - one that can actually handle the gloomy conditions inside - and also an opportunity to document the large amount of new graffiti that has appeared there within the last month or so.

This site has been done countless times before, you all should know it processed and packaged 'Fullers Earth', used in cat litter amongst other products, and closed years ago. The site is slowly getting ever more overgrown, damp and rusty.

On with the pics, there are a fair few as the November sunshine was gorgeous....

Despite some people's opinions on graffiti, it really has brightened up the large bland empty warehouse.

Thanks for looking, more pics here http://www.flickr.com/photos/mookie427/sets/72157625460686608

I quite agree, some graffiti is shocking and takes at the most 5-10mins to produce, stuff like above takes hours and does look amazing. A genuine skill in most of those (quite like the brick one too lol).

Out of interest, what did the piece of paper show in this image?

nice pics dude!

i agree also, some people are obsessed with writing their names or stupid **** on walls but other people are genuine artists and creative!

Lovely industrial goodness, nice pics, like the mushroom shot :D

Looks awesome dude. I wish we had a few more industrial sites like this in Norfolk. We're blessed with many fine old military installations but part of me just yearns for gantrys, ladders and silos. We did have a massive premier foods cannery but one fine day we decided to splore it and arrived just in time to see the JCB's levelling the last shed and a few workman sharing a rollup by the gates.... bastards. WHO DEMOLISHES A BUILDING ON A ******* SUNDAY!

I learnt a long time ago that even 5AM on a sunday morning is not anti-social enough to avoid demolition workers!

Damn them.

I know what you mean. I once encountered a surveyor at 4am on a summer Saturday. The whole kit, theodolite and everything. He says "What are you doing here?" I replied, "Exploring, what about you?" "He says, "Surveying," we looked at each other as comrades of the misty morning and chorused, "Why?"

jST and I drove past a place we've been trying to crack for a while last Sunday, as we drove past on our way somewhere else I notice a couple of APs so we came to a sudden halt only to realise they were tearing it down! Also saw builders at Royds on a bank holiday

I think its a conspiracy to thwart us. Maybe we should start trying between 09.00 AM and 05.00 PM Monday through Friday.

Lazarus,if you want industrial orgasms ,get down to Pyestock and wallow in pure filth.

I'd love to but wife, full time job and a mortgage prevent any real expeditions. When I do get out of Norfolk its usually with the wife and she harbours an irrational resentment to spending romantic getaways dragging through old buildings. I tell her it makes the hot tub better at the end of the day but she's having NONE of it.
