Lancastrian Labels situated on Great Howard Street, went into administration on the 10th February 2010 with the loss of around 20 jobs with the appointment of David Kelly of PricewaterhouseCoopers as administrator. It had gone through a restructuring period the previous year, which was one of the main reasons for its collapse.
The company was part of the Tipografic printing group based in Birkenhead.
The company were Designers and manufacturers of paper and synthetic (polyethylene/PE) self-adhesive labels and print for all industries.
Nature of Business: Designers and manufacturers of self-adhesive labels and print for all industries.
Principal Customers/Markets: Food, Toiletries, Paint, Household, General Industrial, Retail, Specialist.
The administrators sold a number of items of machinery that were at the site.
At the time of its administration, Lancastrian Labels had fixed assets worth £610,000.
The buildings seemed ready for demolition with most fixings and fittings stripped out.Had a closer look before it finally disappears.
