The site is tight,cctv on my way in,secca van pulled up on the side,and from what i could find every building was well sealed...the presence of the travelling caravan club community didnt help either,so i tried to cover as much as possible,staying out of sight of the "residents"that were near by,and secca of corse....gutted i couldnt get into any of the buildings,,,but still enjoyed myself...

Im sure there is mate,,,just needed the time to dig for it....as it was a solo trip out,i had to be on my feet quick...ill be back soon though..

Ahhh now what you did wrong was to look like a normal human bean... had you rocked up on site wearing scruffy clothes, carrying some bolt croppers and leading a tatty pony much like the one in your photo, then you'd have got in to the buildings no problem!

I've been round here a few times - and failed to get inside. Although it is pretty stripped inside, there is lots of ace peeling decay, so certainly worth another go - I bet it opens up fairly regularly. You can see the replacement boards on the pictures you have taken!

good one glad you had a wander...the insides of some of the buildings are really interesting..they still hols a padded isolation cell and a two way mirror room so an ok mooch..

Wow, I lived down the road from this 15 years or so ago and used to regularly have the helicopter up for escapees and it was maximum security then.
