This is a flour mill in the Marquette Lez Lille commune of Lille in northern France. It was built in 1921 and ceased operations in 1989. More information is to be found here.

You have to be very careful when there. Either there are holes in the floors, or the floor is , as it were, just holes (image 12). The basement is flooded. While there, I heard footsteps of a single other person.

As you can see, the floor design was inspired by the Belgian waffle.

Quelle finesse! And in the adjacent room, there were roses.

This is an incredible report!! The building looks MASSIVE!!

I would certainly have been terrified if I heard another person wandering around.

Fantastic place, looks massive!!!

Far bigger than our mills here.

I just love that adrenaline rush when you hear someone else about :icon_evil makes me enjoy the explore all the more! Whats the worst that can happen :policeman:

Very good pics as well, most enjoyable report.

Very nice, this place looks gorgeous! A bit dicey but gorgeous all the same!
Thanks for sharing, there are some lovely pics in there!

Did you btw found a small camera there... lost it there...

Er, no. It's a big place. You lost it or just forgot to pick it up when you left? I left my torch at Mossley-Sartel, so it's a good idea to check you've got everything before you leave the site.

I would certainly have been terrified if I heard another person wandering around.

I was worried as escaping from someone in a place like that would have been suicidal. But who would have been alone in a place like that? Apart from a nutter like myself, that is.
