Lesnes Abbey London

I live within spitting distance of Abbeywood and never realised just how massive the remains of Lesnes Abbey are that remain. After Henry the Eigth and the dissolution of the Abbeys, I would think that the majority of the stonework was robbed out and integrated into other buildings.
But this is what remained some 18 years ago when my kids were much younger.
