Visited at the weekend with Indy. The last time either of us had visited, access to the various villas and utility buildings was very easy. When we came to our first building, it was apparent that fresh boarding had been put up all round. Access was a no-go and we cautiously moved on to the hall. The hall, surprisingly was still as open as it was on our first visit. After getting into the hall, we moved on to the farthest corner of the site, hoping that less effort had been spent on boarding access points. Unfortunately most villas were very secure but eventually we found one that was wide open. After pottering around in there for a while we just worked our way round the site, occasionally finding something open.

After pottering around photographing some of the buildings and scenery surrounding the clocktower and grounds of the manor house (which we had noticed has tarpaulin on the roof) we headed back towards the swimming pool and gym....just in time to be spotted by someone who looked quite official. We casually disappeared out of the site...

All in all, not the most exciting explore but still a few bits to look at.

As usual, an excellent write-up to go with your quality pics! :)
Shame that the Manor House is sealed-up tight, still -at least that means it's less likely to get "chavved" / "chavetted"! ;)
Love the Main Hall pic, the way you've captured the sunlight rays.
Thanks for this one Mr Bones. The style of LG reminds me of Severalls minus the corridors!

Lb:cool:

Thankyou everyone for such positive comments. I was debating whether to put this report up or not because of the very small amount we got inside but i'm glad i did now.

Indy will have his input when he gets his computer fixed :)

Lightbuoy, it looks like the latest damage to the manor house itself is lead taken from the roof. There's a temporary tarpaulin across all the seams.

Crap!! They've gone to town boarding the clock tower :( It was good if pigeony up there. I think Leybourne had my favourite ever "services" block the Laundry epically

Yup, clocktower is well out of bounds now. Never saw it when the chance was there. Don't think i saw this laundry either - D'oh!

hey there, yeah will add some of my pics when MAC is fixed,
but to be honest the place is pretty uneventful now really, bit of a dissapointment, everything was open a year or so ago, all locked down now apart from a few things..

PC...PC...aarrgghhhhhtthh....good god no....

well TBH there both as crap as one another, and I'm certainly not getting owned by MAC's i life i pod i mac i television i telephone i crap...
