visited with daveyGTI and bumped into a 28DL bloke in there too, saw someone else who had no bag/tripod/camera so we hid.

"The school occupies what used to be the Lillesden Estate Mansion, built at the estate (south of Hawkhurst) in 1855 by the banker Edward Loyd, who moved there after marrying. The house and estate remained in the family until just after the First World War, when it was then sold and eventually became the Bedgebury Girls Public School.

The school closed around 1999 and has been abandoned ever since. Due to the theft of its lead roof, water damage is now sadly causing the buildings to collapse. However, it is now owned by a property developed and expected to be converted into private apartments at some point in the future."

was also used in doctor who, they filmed there on 14th of april 1989.

Don't use exact dates please, it does quite clearly say that in various different places on this site.

Fantastic pictures. Sorry to see such a great place in this state.

Ah, I went with Kent-Urbex and a mate. We'd have got there an hour or two after you although my mate did hear someone moving about downstairs just after we got there, don't know who that was.

A guy with a can of beer and a dog told us that we were trespassing (as was he) when we left but otherwise, didn't see anyone. A relaxed explore, although shot it all on 35mm so pictures will be a little while.

Liking the black and white ones especially.

theres not really much to trespass haha, theres no attempt at the place being secured at all.

I know, was a great little relaxed explore. Nice weather made the atmosphere even better :)

yeah i agree although i think the only bit that makes it worth while is the staircase with the mirrors. :)
