Finally got round to checking this one out after fancying it for a while. It didn't disappoint at all!

Here's some simple history, which I found online:

The school occupies what used to be the Lillesden Estate Mansion, built at the estate (south of Hawkhurst) in 1855 by the banker Edward Loyd, who moved there after marrying. The house and estate remained in the family until just after the First World War, when it was then sold and eventually became the Bedgebury Girls Public School.

The school closed around 1999 and has been abandoned ever since.

Explored with Flame and a couple of non-forum chums.

Some HDR and normal shots in this report. :)

Nice to see you got in and out safely and that lillesden is holding on in there. Lovely shots

Thanks a lot! It's a great place if struggling a little in places. There's some real points of irritation though, like idiots who scrawl simple tags over what is genuinely great artwork. Although the original graffiti is technically vandalism, you can totally appreciate the quality of what some people can achieve artistically. Basic tags and penis drawings just don't quite cut it. :)
