Good morning,

Me and Mr Stride have thought about what to do on our next explore, we have a few different places in the Essex area that have not been featured on this site as I understand. We aim to do about 4-6 different places in one night and wanted too see if it is possible to run a live feed somehow so people can watch realtime and explore with us. This might be good if someone wants to see somewhere without actually going maybe because they too far or lacking confidence, also it may provide entertainment along the way. As secca patrol this forum and obviously we do not want them knowing where we are, only the feed link (if that's how it works) will be PM'd and times confirmed.

I just thought it might be cool that good members, members that are too far and maybe even some members with disability's who like or used to urban explore can enjoy seeing somewhere for the first time.

Thoughts on this please.

With a decent phone and a big portable battery charger, this would be possible indeed.

I have a Galaxy S6 edge and 2 powerpacks, I could use one up then change which should give me a decent amount of time.
I need to get a go-pro really soon though.

It's certainly technically possible, but I very much doubt anyone would watch it.

It's not something I would support on this forum to be honest.

I would echo that. The trouble with live is you have to sit down at the time you broadcast and often people just don't have the time to do that. You would almost be better off just making a video. Even then, urbex videos can be very hit and miss.

The best way to do this would probably use Twitch. Might get a broader audience at least.

Thanks for the advice, I think we will stick to doing "reports" and once we have nailed that down, maybe a video but in a documentary style but only on something significant/hard to access.

Again if anyone fancies meeting up to share ideas and go to different places then let us know. We are going to try consistently nail 1 report a week and definitely not tonight are we definitely not going to visit 3-4 places and certainly then not going to report them tomorrow to any concerned security that maybe browsing.

Barry, you'd be better with a video report, that's more or less live. If you do a live feed then you'll have to notify every member on this site with a PM, and other non-members who come on this site just to be curious and not register.
