After attending a gig nearby I spotted this building and simply had to return! There was another site not far away but I will complete that explore in the future.

The Liverpool Warehousing Company Limited ran from 1895 - 1983.

Warehouses were built around the Northwest UK to deal with the massive cotton industry, they were built near docklands on the Mersey and Manchester ship canal in Victorian times.

Sadly, there is little info on this place. Many warehouses still stand from the great era but this one will be converted into flats - at some point!

The walls still stand and the land is a car park, according to Google Earth the rest came down in 2016. There was a tent inside but no-one was home, I carry packs of cigs for if I come across homeless people. It's a good way to make the day of someone who is down on their luck and stop them trying to rob you. My tip of the day!

This scared the crap out of me! when I was through the door on the right it was positioned so it was looking Right at me! For a few mad seconds I was waiting for it to move! Duh!

Old signage!
